Network Jacks, HDMI, and 3.5mm Jack wall mounted
Toft House required internet in the studio room for live-streaming certain events. I specified a system to put in. I understood that there was a budget restraint and that professional grade network equipment wasn't necessary for the sakes of the task. I ran a Cat6 cable from the router in the bar to the position of the new rack cabinet I specified for the project. I then ran three network jacks to various points in the studio room and left the access point in the rack as it was giving a strong reception in the studio room.
I terminated all of the Cat6 cables myself (with the exception of the small one to the wireless access point). A schematic of the setup can be seen to the right. I was happy with the quality of my work as the building is very old and meant it had several obstacles to overcome and I successfully did as the network solution has been successful and hasn't had any issues yet. Due to the cable management job I did, it will make any troubleshooting very easy.
